Tribute Technology Expands Its Chptr Integration to Radio
Tribute Technology announced last week that its customers can now access Chptr Radio directly through the same integration already powering televised obituaries.
The expanded integration brings Chptr’s iHeartMedia radio distribution into the Tribute workflow, giving funeral homes another way to extend obituary announcements beyond their own websites and into the communities they serve.
For Tribute customers, access is built directly into the systems they already use. For funeral homes across the country, Chptr can bring that same broadcast reach to their communities, working with the technology and processes already in place.
That flexibility is central to how we’ve built Chptr. We’re here to extend what funeral homes already do, not ask them to replace the tools, workflows, or relationships they rely on.
Bringing Obituaries to Local Radio
Through our partnership with iHeartMedia, Chptr gives funeral homes access to radio distribution reaching a quarter of a billion monthly listeners across more than 90% of U.S. radio stations.
More than 100 funeral homes have already enrolled in the service.
For families, that means another trusted way to reach the people who would want to know about a passing. For funeral homes, it creates another meaningful community touchpoint without adding a complicated new process for staff.
Radio is especially powerful because it is already part of daily community life. People hear it in the car, at work, at home, and throughout their day.
Combined with local television, it gives funeral homes the ability to extend a memorial announcement across two of the most established local media channels in the country.
One Obituary, More Ways to Reach the Community
The people whose lives were touched by someone rarely gather in one place.
Some will see an obituary online. Some will watch the local news. Others may hear an announcement on the radio.
Chptr helps funeral homes reach across those channels while keeping the funeral home at the center of the experience.
That’s what makes the Tribute Technology expansion important. It isn’t simply another feature inside an integration. It is one more way we’re making trusted local broadcast easier for funeral homes to bring to the families they serve.
