Reaching 74 communities is not about scale. It’s about people. Every new partnership represents a director, a team, and a community willing to see remembrance in a new light.
Just a month ago, we celebrated our presence in 50 communities. The growth since then speaks to something larger than expansion. It shows that funeral professionals across the country are ready to bring visibility, storytelling, and care together in new ways, and that families are responding.
This moment belongs to them. The funeral professionals who took a chance on something new, who recognized that visibility could be an act of care, and who trusted Chptr to help bring their work into the homes and hearts of their communities. From Portland, Maine to Portland, Oregon, these professionals are showing that remembrance can be both traditional and modern, rooted in compassion yet open to change.
When we began, the goal wasn’t to reinvent what funeral directors already do so well. It was to help those moments of service and storytelling reach beyond the walls of the funeral home and into the communities where people lived, worked, and made lasting connections.
Through broadcast memorials, funeral homes are extending the care they already provide into the wider community. Families share a story, and that story finds its way onto local television and digital channels where neighbors, friends, and colleagues can see it, remember, and respond.
Every partnership has taught us something new about what families value most: connection, visibility, and authenticity. Directors have shown us how powerful it is when a life is not only honored privately but recognized publicly by the community that person helped shape.
Chptr doesn’t stand apart from funeral service. We stand beside it.
Our platform works because directors and staff bring it to life in ways that reflect their community and their care. Broadcast memorials look and feel different in every market because they reflect the people who make them. What viewers see on screen or online isn’t just a video. It’s a reflection of that director’s commitment to helping families feel seen and supported long after the service ends.
Every milestone we reach is a direct result of those partnerships. The trust that funeral professionals place in Chptr is something we take seriously. It reminds us that progress in this space is built on respect for the profession, not disruption of it.
Seventy-four communities represent thousands of stories told, shared, and remembered. Each one proof that compassion can evolve without losing its foundation.
We’re deeply grateful for every partner who has joined us on this path. Your openness, your belief in your communities, and your dedication to families have made this milestone possible.
As we look ahead, the goal remains simple. To support funeral professionals in bringing visibility and connection to the families they serve through broadcast memorials. To make remembrance something communities experience together, not just observe from afar.
To our partners, thank you for leading with care and trust. You’ve shown what’s possible when tradition and innovation move together.
